Under the Virginia Computer Recovery and Recycling Act, manufacturers must adopt and implement a recovery plan for consumers of their branded computer equipment. The program must allow consumers to recycle computer equipment that is labeled with the manufacturer’s brand for free once it has reached the end of its useful life.
